Banana bread recipe.....

When I was a kid the one thing I loved the most was eating bananas. I loved them so much that I preferred adding bananas in almost everything I ate. In my memory, it’s very clear that my all-time favorite snack used to be banana Sunday.
Then there used to be this fruit salad full of bananas I loved eating all the time. Banana is one fruit which is easy to eat and serves as a complete meal too. During the early days of my baking when I was still in the process of discovering recipes, this thought came into my mind that I must bake a cake which involves banana in it. Although banana flavors were still available in market but the idea of using the actual fruit was really interesting. So the hunt for one good recipe involving bananas started.

I tried many but most of them failed due to one or another reason. Then my dearest aunt who’s my mentor when it comes to baking came for my rescue. She gave me this recipe which she has been using for many years. It’s really simple just like my other recipes and once the banana bread is ready you can enjoy it both ways either with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or have it plain with a cup of coffee. So here is what you will need for this banana bread recipe:

• Take 3 cups of flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.

• Mash 5-6 bananas in a bowl and add 2 table spoon of lemon juice in it and set aside.

• Now beat together butter and sugar until all fluffy.

• Add eggs and vanilla and beat for few more minutes.

• Add dry ingredients into egg mixture along with butter milk.

• At first batter will seem little too fluid but will end up in medium consistency.

• Finally add banana mixture and mix with wooden spoon.

• Pour into greased pan and bake at 220 degree C for almost 20-30 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.

It’s an amazing recipe loved by everyone. Give it a try and you will know for yourself that how amazing this banana bread turns out to be.

Happy baking .
